ABOUT
Summer Camp at HOOASA High Performance is designed for families who want more than activity—they want meaningful development. Our camp is designed with the tournament player in mind. If your child is not yet a tournament player please join us for Tennis Camp 100.
The Academy & our summer camp is built on a simple premise: improvement comes from intentional training, consistent feedback, and the opportunity to apply skills in real competitive settings. Each week, players engage in structured on-court sessions that emphasize sound technique, tactical awareness, and disciplined point construction. Training is complemented by age-appropriate strength and conditioning, as well as guided work on focus, composure, and decision-making under pressure.
What distinguishes our camp is not just the volume of training, but its clarity of purpose. Players are taught how to practice (developing weapons), how to compete (playing free under pressure), and how to think through the game (on-court tactics)—skills that translate directly into match performance. For those pursuing tournament play, we host two on-site tournaments, and are traveling as a team to five others events in the south-east, helping our campers turn their training into real results.
The environment is demanding but supportive. We set clear standards, hold players accountable, and invest in each player's progress. Over time, this approach builds not only better tennis players, but more confident and resilient young people.
LOCATION
Camp will commence daily on courts 5-7 at Moores Mill Tennis Facility located at:
2272 Moores Mill Rd. Auburn, AL 36801
THE COACHES

CONTACT ME
TAYLOR HARDY
Taylor specializes in the development of high-performance junior tennis players, combining elite playing experience with a proven ability to shape disciplined, competitive athletes. He brings a high-energy, focused approach to the court each day, creating an environment where players are pushed to improve, compete, and take ownership of their development.
As a junior, Taylor achieved the No. 1 ranking in Alabama, and top 100 nationally. He continued his success at the collegiate level, achieving rankings No. 64 in singles and No. 12 in doubles, and was a member of the 2014 national championship team at Georgia Gwinnett College, part of a historic 168-match winning streak, the longest in collegiate sports history.
Following his playing career, Taylor trained under Ashley Hobson at Hobson Performance Tennis in Bradenton, Florida before founding his own academy at Hamilton Mill Country Club in Dacula, Georgia, where he developed some of the state’s top junior players.
Now at Moore’s Mill Club in Auburn, Alabama, Taylor is driven by a clear mission: develop players who exhibit real tenacity and great consistency, athletes capable of winning at the highest levels of tennis and carrying those same qualities into life. A devout follower of Jesus, loving husband to Jess, and father of three boys, Taylor approaches coaching with purpose, conviction, and a deep investment in who his players become both on and off the court.

FAQ'S
WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER?
If we are already on court we will move indoor and pivot the lesson plan accordingly for that day/week. If we have not yet begun practice, we will mostly likely move to a later start time that particular day. All weather day plans will be communicated via text.
IS TOURNAMENT PLAY REQUIRED?
Tournament play is not required, but highly recommended. There is no substitute for tournament play. Players who are active at the tournaments tend to progress more quickly than their peers and are more focused throughout the training week in hopes to perform their best on the weekend.
WHAT DOES MY CHILD NEED TO BRING?
Players are encouraged to bring the following items:
-
All relevant tennis equipment (rackets, courts shoes, wristbands etc.)
-
Plenty of fluids (a large water bottle, cooler), (electrolyte infused beverages are a necessity)
-
Sunscreen
-
A small snack (power bar, apple, etc.)
-
A change of clothes & towel (if planning to shower on-site and conduct matchplay after morning training sessions)
CAN WE DO PRIVATE LESSONS IN ADDITION TO THE CAMP?
Yes, private lessons are scheduled in the afternoons after camp hours or on Friday mornings. Privates can be scheduled with any coach on staff. Get started by texting Coach Taylor your interest at (205) 960-3379.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER SUMMER?
Over the course of the summer a lot always changes moving into the fall. Coach Taylor will be evaluating the academy and player development. In early July an academy restructure will be finalized detailing how the academy will flow in the forthcoming fall semester.
